Join the Bossier Parish Libraries History Center for a virtual tour of Rocky Mount Cemetery. This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Bossier Parish with the oldest recorded death date of 1849. Rocky Mount was a thriving community from the 1850s until the late 1880s, when the railroad bypassed the town. Most commercial interests then moved to nearby Alden Bridge.
